      <image:title>Work - The Muck</image:title>
<image:caption>On the eastern shore of Florida sits Palm Beach, one of the wealthiest communities in America. Just 40 miles west is one of the poorest. It’s known as ‘The Muck’. Despite the poverty and violence, ‘The Muck’ has forged over 40 NFL players. Our documentary tells the story of Pahokee, FL. (population 5,649), a unique place where high school football has become more than a game - it’s a way of life. By following three key members of the 2015-16 Pahokee High School football team, we explore the past, present and future of the town. From the perspectives of ex-coaches and players from that area — including NFL wide receiver Anquan Boldin — we attempt to understand a place where football becomes the only way out.</image:caption>

      <image:title>About - Adam Scigliano</image:title>
<image:caption>Adam Scigliano is a Producer from New York City who has always had a love for sports and film. After graduating from St. John’s University in Queens, NY, Adam had the opportunity to be mentored by ten time Emmy Award winning Producer and Director, Jonathan Hock. Working alongside Jon, Adam helped produce “Streetball: The And1 Mixtape Tour” for 8 seasons. Adam also worked with Hock Films on several ESPN: 30 For 30 documentaries, namely “Unguarded: The Chris Herren Story”. Scigliano owned Bandwagon Entertainment where he produced shows for ESPN, and the MSG and SNY networks, including “Inside the Big East”, “EBC Live at Rucker Park”, and college basketball series for Villanova University, St. John’s University, Manhattan College and Fordham University. Outside of the basketball world, Adam produced the ESPN special, “Stomping on the Yard”, based on the “Stomping on the Yard” national step show that went on to inspire the feature film, “Stomp The Yard”. He also produced and directed “The Making of NCAA Football 12” for ESPNU. In 2012, Adam began his work with Vox Media where he supervised the SB Nation Video content team. He also helped shape and structure the content teams for other verticals within Vox Media including The Verge, Polygon, and Eater. Through his vision, SB Nation broke barriers in the way viewers consume sports content in the marketplace. While at SB Nation, Adam produced “The Muck”, a documentary based on residents of the small town of Pahokee, FL, affectionately known to locals as “the muck”. By telling the story of three key members of the Pahokee High School football team, the film explores the past, present and future of the town, and documents how high school football has become a way of life and a means to a brighter future for its residents. The film includes the perspective of former Pahokee resident, NFL wide receiver Anquan Boldin, and brings light to socio-economic issues in sports.”The Muck” was showcased in both the NYC DOC film festival and the Miami Film Festival where it won the Festival Choice Award. Adam currently resides in the Boston area with his wife and two kids. He enjoys coaching his son’s baseball team and dancing with his wife and daughter in their kitchen dance studio.</image:caption>
